5 Unique Match Styles, Turn-Based Interactive Rules, Immersive Gameplay

Wave One, the Dwarves of  Krav'Durnakh and the Orcs of Gurvalon

Dwarves of Krav'Durnakh

Heavily armoured, fiercely loyal, and with access to some of the most powerful warmachines in Arianh Kalo'r, the Dwarves of Krav'Durnakh have established one of the mightiest empires in the land. With 60 unique cards, a variety of units, support and iconic heroes, the Dwarves stand firm against their foes.

Orcs of Gurvalon

Consisting of both civilised and primitive inhabitants, the Orcs of Gurvalon have long been a thorn in the side of their neighbours. Their war-like nature has led to the destruction of countless enemies, and with access to brutal units backed by terrifying beasts, this 60 card-set is a force to be reckoned with.

King Thrundor of Ironvale and Warlord Ugboz Bone-Crusher

Ever since dozens of Orc tribes from Krenl'Mors were forced from their homes by the Elven cleansing of Breachmount, the villages of Gurvalon had no choice but to take in new refugees from across the ocean. After extensive in-fighting, Warlord Ugboz who was already venturing with an army South into Dwarven territory, decided to take full advantage of his new numbers. Although the brutal leader was disappointed after expecting a fairly quiet land-grab, he felt more than confident enough to tackle the fresh Dwarf resistance which had gathered en masse to quell the invading force and crack a few Orc skulls in the process.

Whether you want to take part in this scenario, or create your own - our first wave release consists of 2 decks of 60 cards including unique Heroes, Units, Warmachines and Support cards that allow you to take on the role of a Leader and fight for your chosen race.

Getting to know AK the Game

What is Arianh Kalo'r?

Arianh Kalo'r, or AK the Game, is a strategic fantasy battle card game with an entirely unique set of rules, allowing two players to choose an army, customise their deck, and go head to head on any flat surface.

Is it easy to learn?

When developing the game, we wanted to produce something best suited to fans of strategy. The rules are fairly easy to learn, and once mastered, the game itself offers some of the most unique card synchronisation options imaginable.

Which army should you choose?

We have created artwork, cards and rules for 16 unique armies, as well as a bonus "Beasts and Boosts" deck (ideal for players that enjoy full customisation to their games). We have created many fantasy favourites such as Dwarves, Elves, Humans, Orcs and Undead. Each army has its own unique play-style, allowing gamers and collectors alike to choose their ideal deck.

How many people can battle?

Wars and battles require 2 players and Campaigns typically involve between 1 and 5 players.

How can you buy your deck or decks?

We plan on releasing decks in waves via Kickstarter and from this website. Sign up to our newsletter to avoid missing out on new releases, but to keep things simple, we intend to release two decks at a time.

Want to learn more?

Our team is hard at work creating lore, history, background, and army information that we will be releasing here, as well as exclusive features for those that sign up to our newsletter.

How does the game work?

A game has two players. Each player chooses an army deck and is given freedom to customise their strategy. The game itself is turn-based, with abilities that allow interference or traps to be deployed. The game board is separated into two halves and our rules are entirely free to download. The goal of the game is to eliminate the opponent's Leader.

As each army is entirely unique, players and collectors are guaranteed to find new and exciting ways to develop the strongest deck for their play-style, while making their army as unique as imaginable.

The Armies of AK the Game

The Dwarves

As a predominantly defensive army, the Dwarves specialise in strategic movement, powerful counter-assaults and have access to some of the most devastating heavy infantry and warmachines in Arianh Kalo'r. Even their simplest units have superior defense, making them capable of withstanding deadly onslaughts, before following up with decimating attacks, made all the more potent by special skills, runes and unique armaments.

The Orcs

Specialising in brutal assaults, devastating impacts and boasting battle-hardened units, the Orcs of Arianh Kalo'r are truly warlike. Orcs have access to a variety of shock troops, deadly contraptions, mystic spells and devastating heroes that enjoy nothing more than getting their hands dirty. Every unit has its own unique role, from the smallest goblin to the most terrifying war beast, making the Orcs a foe that any opponent should rightfully fear.

The Gracians

Potent sorceries, rapid calvalry, elite infantry and access to the little-understood spirit-fire make the Gracian Elves one of the most versatile armies in the entirety of Arianh Kalo'r. The elite-nature of this army is capable of facing off against all types of foe, and led by inspiring heroes as well as terrifying draconic and special units, the noble born Gracians are as capable of fighting from the front as they are at flanking and surprise attacks.

The Balenvalians

The human armies of Balenvale are some of the most skilled warriors in all of Arianh Kalo'r, complimented by powerful mages, heavily armoured knights, devastating cavalry and warmachines. Every aspect of the military is honed for optimum results. The versatile nature of Balenvalians allows them to stand steadfast against even the most deadly enemies, and with unique battle-tactics, their units are capable of facing all types of foes.

The Mor'vekh

Rank upon rank of skeletal wights, hordes of zombies, groups of ghouls, countless spectres and untold horrors - an army of Mor'vekh is truly a sight to behold. Led by deathless vampires and arcane necromancers, simply facing an army of the undead can be terrifying. Special skills allow many units to return to battle, and with undead creatures on the prowl, the Hollowed have been a bane to the mortal races for centuries.

The Brannax

Tribal and nomadic denizens of Arianh Kalo'r, the Brannax are innately aggressive and warlike. Led by a chosen Mistress that proved her worth by surviving a multitude of tasks, a Brannax army revolves around huge minotaurs, relentless elite units and a host of man-beasts capable of overwhelming armies and strongholds alike. With brute force and devastating units, an army of Brannax can be an extreme challenge to defend against.

The Kulvahn

Banished knights, ruthless bounty hunters, sneaky mercenaries and raiders form the composition of a Kulvahn army, all having sold themselves for wealth during The Great Demise years ago. A Kulvahn army strikes rapidly and excels at infiltrating the enemy. Led by fallen knights and with access to captured beasts and ranged weaponry - when the sound of a Kulvahn raiding horn is heard, no one could blame even a commander for shuddering.

The Vanarai

Ancestral hunters, warriors and tree-folk, the Vanarai Elves are one of the most unique army types in Arianh Kalo'r. Specialising in ranged warfare, quick raids, natural magic and supported by mythical forest-dwelling creatures and beasts, they are capable of incapacitating an army and then moving in for the kill with minimal fuss. Paired with support from spell-casters and awe-inspiring leaders, the Vanarai are avoided for good reason.

The Ursonas

Close allies of  more civilised races, the Ursonas prioritise chivalry and honour above all else. Although limited in number, the sheer strength and capabilities of an army amassed for war can be devastating. With access to many favoured technologies, weapons and armour given to them as reward for their part in defending regions of Arianh Kalo'r, the Ursonas have gone on to become one of the most feared and respected forces in the land.

The Trolls

Brute force, endless rage and sheer strength are just a few advantages that the hill and mountain Trolls of Arianh Kalo'r boast. As an army, their units vary from the slow and cumbersome (yet catastrophic), to the rapid and nimble, with a unique combination of magic, strategy and power. There's a reason why civilised folk avoid the mountainous regions, and it isn't just the regenerative capabilities of the Trolls, but also their insatiable appetite for flesh.

The Tracarians

Although a fairly reclusive race, when the Tracarian army goes to war, it does so with the support of vicious beasts, thickly scaled monsters and rank upon rank of disciplined warriors. The army boasts a high defense as standard, which when combined with ranged attacks and powerful offensive tactics, makes for a brutally potent force on the battlefield. What's more is the varied units available to the Tracarians and their skill-sets.

The Grunalgh

The Giants, or Grunalgh, of Arianh Kalo'r are unlike any other army on the battlefield. Favouring lower numbers that can be enhanced mid-battle, each hero is capable of decimating an entire unit when sufficiently nourished. Mercenaries often support the Grunalgh and can be called upon to offer valued support, ranged skills and versatile strategies. The longer a Giant remains on the field, the more powerful it can get, feeding on friend and foe alike.

The Umvarni

Secretive, skilled and sinister are the Umvarni Elves of Arianh Kalo'r. Expert strategists with an aptitude  for the poisonous arts - the soldiers, assassins and beasts of the Umvarni are rightly feared. The army itself balances rapid movement with potent skills, sorceries and power to combine into a force that is the bane of even the most seasoned commander. Led by blade masters and expert strategists, decimation usually follows an Umvarni warhost.

The Sundered

The Barbarian hosts of Arianh Kalo'r have no choice but to fight to survive. Their army composition reflects this, with access to incredibly powerful beasts and drakes, as well as large minotaurs and monsters having become a permanent part of their ranks. Amazons, warriors, hunters and fearless cavalry add to their capabilities, with a host of unique support options to further boost their strengths.

The Briyargk (2025)

Although rarely encountered, the Briyargk forces of Arianh Kalo'r are certainly more than a tale to frighten naughty children. Part beast, part entity from a deeper part of the world, these savage creatures utilise brute force, cunning and a desire to disembowel their enemies mid-battle. When the Briyargk go to war, they do so with nightmarish beasts and magic capable of decimating entire units, or cutting straight through an enemies' guard.

The Vymrith (2025)

Rarely encountered save by those that venture too deeply in to the forests, or when trading, the gnomish Vymrith are unlike any other society in Arianh Kalo'r . What they lack in strength and numbers, they more than make up for with their ingenuity, affinity with ingredients and potions, and unique way of war. Capable of utilising traps, as well as weakening their foes, the Vymrith prove that sheer force of will can often defeat might.

The Skrathis (2025)

Feral, vicious denizens of the long-forgotten under realms of Arianh Kalo'r, the Skrathis are masters of unseen-warfare. Swarms of the rat-like warriors emerge without warning, overwhelming their enemies and carrying pestilence everywhere that they go. With access to torturous poisons and an uncanny ability to disappear and reappear from hidden positions, the Skrathis have long plagued the civilised races of Arianh Kalo'r.

The Chyrr'karh (2025)

Very little is known of the Chyrr'karh with their existence occupying a space somewhere between stories told over campfires, and myths spoken about in hushed tones. In reality, the race hail from the Mother of the Chyrr, a huge, mythical spider-like being darker than the deepest night and capable of sending forth countless chittering, web-spewing soldiers that trap, restrain and feast on their foes, bones and all.

The Vaek'thul (2025)

Hailing from the coastal regions south of Sardon'At and spreading throughout the trecherous oceans deeper still, the Vaek'thul have been the bane of seafaring vessels for centuries. Masters of water magic, with access to seabeasts capable of traversing both land and sea, the Vaek'thul are typically reclusive as a race, but in times of war are capable of mustering storms that can decimate entire regions, seemingly at will.

The Dhaer'vyn (2025)

Part man, part beast, the Dhaer'vyn can be found across the lands of Arianh Kalo'r where they typically spend their days as shepherds of monstrosities that seem to only answer to the call of the Horned Wardens. When forced to fight, both shepherd and beast unite to create a force so potent that entire villages, towns and even cities have been trampled beneath their hooves, with those unlucky survivors often heat-branded as a stark warning.

The World of Arianh Kalo'r

Filled with countless flora and fauna, Arianh Kalo'r is a mystical realm brimming with adventure, magic, politics, daily life, and the inevitable march of war.

With endless mountains, hills, valleys, streams, deserts, swamps, landmarks and other naturally occurring environments, it is a truly fascinating landscape.

The land itself is ancient, from the volcanic regions, to the floating isles and everything in between - there is always something new to see in every region.

From the valleys and moors, to the deepest dungeon, every region, landmark and environment within Arianh Kalo'r has been meticulously crafted by our team.
